Having gone to sail in Antigua we weren’t intending to stay in accommodation on land but a friend recommended the Lodge at the sailing academy when we needed boat repairs. Elizabeth fitted us in and we stayed for 5 nights in what I would describe as a peaceful and beautiful setting with a lovely garden full of birds. There is access from a floating dock to swim in the sea. The accommodation itself is simple and clean but the simplicity in my view is part of its charm.

A beautiful spot, Elizabeth is a fantastic host! The room is clean, bathrooms kept clean, wifi was good and Elizabeth answers all questions. Location was useful - 10 mins to Nelson's Dockyard, 15-20 minute walk to stunning Pigeon point beach. The Lodge is on the water and you can dip in from the house if you like! Pure bliss. The restaurant on site (Island Fusion) is fantastic and one of the best meals I had in Antigua! They also had many vegetarian options and Sandra (the chef) was very keen to try making Caribbean recipes vegetarian-friendly!

I stayed here for the world sailing championships - it’s clean and super close to the harbour, even has its own dock. Sandra’s restaurants is fabulous, she accommodated our group so well! After almost three weeks we were very sad to say goodbye!
